Iranians Celebrate Teachers’ Day Today

Today, May 2nd, is Teachers’ Day in Iran.
This day commemorates the assassination of an
Iranian professor in 1980.
Malaysia, Mexico, and South Korea also celebrate Teacher’s Day in May.
And next week is Teacher Appreciation Week here in the U.S. Tuesday, May 5 is our unofficial
Teacher’s Day.
